 Bryan Johnston - Gwinnett Co. Area Director

 Bryan comes to FCA after 17 years in corporate Talent Management. He is a coach at heart both personally and professionally. He has personally coached everything from fastpitch softball, basketball to volleyball. He is married to his best friend, Pam, and they have 6 children that range from twenty one to nine.




 

Carl West - Area Rep. - Coaches Ministry

Prior to joining FCA full time, Coach West worked 26 years in the public school system and was a volunteer huddle coach leading thousands of young people to Christ through the vehicle of FCA.  His personal vision is “To see Coaches and Athletes become champions in the game of life and victorious warriors on the battle field for Christ”!

 Candace Lane - Area Rep - Coaches Wives

Prior to joining FCA staff in 2013, Candace and her husband, Bryan, were missionaries in Brazil.  Today, as a coach's wife, Candace can relate to so many challenges of other coaches' wives: Trying to invest in her own family while investing in other people’s children, wanting to grow in her own marriage but not having much time together, and seeing so many needs but needing encouragement herself.  Candace has a passion to serve coaches' wives and their families.To read more about Candace's ministry please click HERE



Jorge Vallejo - FCA Soccer Ministries Director

Jorge Vallejo is from the beautiful Bogotá, Colombia. He has had the pleasure to be part of the soccer professional arena for 7 years starting at the young age of 16 playing in the Colombian Professional League for 3 years before moving to the United States. Jorge has been serving with FCA for over 10 years, 5 years directing the Inner City of Philadelphia FCA and 5 in Atlanta launching the FCA Soccer ATL mission. Currently he develops and directs the FCA Soccer Ministries in Atlanta using the platform of soccer to develop "TRANSFORMATIONAL" coaches from the pro to rec level. Through soccer he and his team is reaching more than 300 at-risk youth in the metro Atlanta area through a Leadership Academy Program that matches at-risk youth with mentor-coaches.

Jorge has 9 years of coaching experience and has had the pleasure to coach at every level from the pro, college, club and HS level. Currently he serves as a volunteer coach with the men's program at Georgia Gwinnett College and it is the Chaplain/Character Coach for the Atlanta Silverbacks. He holds a USSF (United States Soccer Federation) A coaching license. Jorge’s passion for soccer and people has taken him off the pitch and into the nations to speak on matters of life, faith, leadership, identity & character development.

 Tyler Hoitsma - Area Rep - FCA Soccer ATL

Tyler grew up in Ramsey, NJ and began playing soccer at the age of 7.  He was blessed to pursue his dream to play college soccer at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. The Lord has put a burden on Tyler's heart to serve at risk youth and he wants to make an impact by giving a hope and future to the kids he builds relationships with, which is only possible by sharing about the grace and love of our Heavenly Father.  FCA has allowed him to leverage his passions for the Gospel, youth, and soccer to have a greater impact for the Kingdom.






David Pence - Area Rep - Community Sports

David is a Georgia Native and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a major in Sports Management. Sports has been a big passion of Davids since he was five years old starting with tee ball playing baseball through high school. In college he developed a love for volleyball where he played men's club volleyball for Georgia Southern. Since he graduated he coached baseball at Providence Christian Academy where he found his passion for coaching. He has just come on Staff for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. David lives in Sugar Hill, Ga with his wife Ashley and their dogs.
